This mix creates a highly comfortable surface that is perfect for bare feet in living rooms and bedrooms. It perfectly balances long-lasting durability with a gentle, relaxing and cozy texture.

The ultra-tight construction prevents dirt penetration and withstands the rigorous demands of busy reception areas. It presents a sophisticated image while requiring minimal upkeep over time.

Frequently Asked Questions – Sisal Rugs Dubai
What are sisal rugs?
Sisal rugs are made from natural fibers taken from the leaves of the agave plant. They have a textured, earthy look and are known for being strong and hard-wearing. Sisal rugs suit living rooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and bedrooms, and fit well with natural, minimal, and modern interiors.
How much do sisal rugs cost in Dubai?
Sisal rug prices in Dubai depend on the size, weave, thickness, and whether the rug has a border or is blended with other fibers such as wool. Sisal is usually a mid-range option, and custom sizes cost more than standard ones. Kustom Space provides a detailed quotation once you share your space size and style preferences.
Are sisal rugs durable?
Yes. Sisal is one of the toughest natural fibers, which makes it a good choice for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and living rooms. It resists wear and does not hold static, but the surface is coarse, so it is better suited to areas where people walk than to areas where they sit or play on the floor.
Are sisal rugs good for Dubai's climate?
Yes, for indoor use in air-conditioned homes and offices. Sisal is a natural fiber that absorbs moisture, so keep it away from bathrooms, kitchens with frequent spills, and outdoor areas. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight too, since strong sun can fade the natural color over time.
Do sisal rugs stain easily?
Sisal can stain when liquids soak into the fibers, and water can leave marks, so clean spills immediately. Blot the spill with a dry cloth instead of rubbing, and avoid wetting the rug. Some sisal rugs come with a protective treatment or a latex backing, which helps reduce staining, so ask about your options when you request a quotation.
Are sisal rugs good for kids and pets?
Sisal is strong and can handle busy family homes, but the rough surface can feel scratchy on bare skin, so it is less comfortable for children who play on the floor. Pets with claws may pull at the loops, and liquid accidents can stain the fibers. For homes with young children, consider a sisal and wool blend, which feels softer.
How do I clean and maintain sisal rugs?
Vacuum sisal rugs regularly with suction only, since a beater bar can damage the weave, and vacuum in the direction of the weave to remove fine desert dust. Blot spills quickly, avoid water and steam cleaning, and use professional cleaning for stubborn marks. Rotating the rug from time to time helps it wear evenly.
Do you supply and deliver sisal rugs in Dubai?
Yes. Kustom Space supplies sisal rugs and delivers them across Dubai, including help with size, weave, and border selection, so the rug fits your space and matches your interior. Contact us with your requirements to receive a quotation.
